God created Erik to never stop thinking about how to do things better. This sometimes drives everybody else nuts. He finds working on the property a wonderful compliment to keeping people safe from rockets gone awry. He sees the world through probabilities and stories more than propositions, and Jesus is the best story of all.
Heather enjoys the beauty of the Lord, and wants to reflect it in thought, love, and art. She loves playing with words, harps, ancient or minority languages, ideas about education or beauty, and manuscript-style art. She has a doctorate in Celtic Languages and Literatures, and she has homeschooled for fourteen years, published a volume of poetry, launched a school Latin program, and been an inspirational speaker/writer for homeschoolers.

Florimel (Florrie) is the dog. Her favorite hobby is being the fluffiest dog in the word. She loves when she knows what is about to happen. And she tells everyone how excited she is when a walk or a meal is imminent. She is very calm and patient with everyone, although she would be thrilled to dog-wrestle with you. She loves Oak Haven so much.
